Smart Layer 2 million SLN tokens are about to be claimed

On February 21st, OKX announced that the spot trading market will list Smart Layer Network (click to visit the official website). Deposits for SLN will open at 4:00 AM UTC on February 21, 2024. Spot trading for SLN/USDT will open at 8:00 AM UTC on February 23, 2024. Subsequently, the Smart Layer official team announced that 2% of the total tokens will be allocated for airdrop, and SLN airdrop claims will go live at 15:30 Beijing time on February 23rd.

Smart Layer

According to RootData statistics, Smart Layer has previously completed two rounds of funding with a total funding amount of $12 million, as follows:

• On July 29, 2021, a $6 million funding round was completed, with investors including Mark Cuban, Crypto.com, Framework Ventures, and Mechanism Capital.
• On September 27, 2022, a $6 million funding round was completed, led by Liang Xinjun, co-founder of Fosun International. Other investors included HashGlobal, Bodl, Fenbushi Capital, SNZ Capital, UOB Ventures, Signum Capital, MH Ventures, and individual investor Zhang Fan, co-founder of Sequoia China.

In January of this year, the Smart Layer Network (SLN) testnet was officially launched. As of now, the testnet has supported over 2.5 million executable NFTs, held by 946,000 unique wallet addresses. The official team stated that the collaboration between Smart Tokens (Executable Tokens and NFTs) and SLN has ushered in a new era of digital asset value creation.

Allocation Ratio

According to Smart Layer's official documentation, SLN's native token has a total supply of 100 million tokens, allocated as follows:

• Seed investors: Hold 6.8125% of the total token supply, with a 6-month lock-up period followed by linear unlocking over 18 months.
• Other investors: Hold 19.6364% of the total token supply, with a 6-month lock-up period followed by linear unlocking over 12 months.
• Team and equity investors: Hold 22.96% of the total token supply, with a 6-month lock-up period followed by linear unlocking over 36 months.
• Node rewards: Hold 20% of the total token supply, gradually released starting from February 1, 2025.
• Ecosystem fund: Hold 18.4% of the total token supply, with 20% unlocked at the TGE (Token Generation Event) followed by linear unlocking over 48 months.
• Treasury reserve: Hold 4% of the total token supply, fully unlocked at TGE.
• Community incentive pool: Hold 4% of the total token supply, fully unlocked at TGE.
• Marketing and partners: Hold 2.1911% of the total token supply, fully unlocked at TGE.
• Airdrop: Hold 2% of the total token supply, fully unlocked at TGE.
