Binance Labs has announced its investment in four top-performing projects that participated in the 6th season of the MVB (Most Valuable Builder) program for BNB Chain. The MVB program is an accelerator initiative focused on developing the BNB Chain ecosystem. The four projects that demonstrated outstanding performance in the program are AltLayer, KiloEx, Kinza, and Sleepless AI, covering areas such as DeFi, infrastructure, and Web3 games.

This season, the MVB accelerator received over 1400 applications, with 53% of applicants from North America and Europe, and 36% from the Asia-Pacific region. After rigorous screening, less than 1% of the total applicants were ultimately selected.

一、AltLayer

AltLayer is an open and decentralized protocol that allows developers to launch custom Rollups for their applications. The protocol provides a no-code Rollups-as-a-Service dashboard built on its core network Beacon Layer, enabling quick customization of Rollups with fraud/zk proofs.

In July 2022, Ethereum scaling project AltLayer raised $7.2 million in seed funding through a SAFT (Simple Agreement for Future Tokens) sale. The funding round was led by Polychain Capital, Jump Crypto, and Breyer Capital. Other investors in this round included Ethereum co-founder and Polkadot founder Gavin Wood, Balaji Srinivasan (former CTO of Coinbase and former general partner at a16z), Sean Neville (Co-founder of Circle), and Kain Warwick and Jordan Momtazi (Co-founders of Synthetix and Bodhi Ventures, respectively).

二、KiloEx

KiloEx is building the next-generation user-friendly decentralized perpetual contract DEX (Decentralized Exchange), focusing on risk management and capital efficiency. The platform offers a wide range of trading pairs, providing lightning-fast transaction speed and an intuitive trading experience, while also offering risk-neutral positions for liquidity providers and LP (Liquidity Provider) friendly solutions.

三、Kinza

Kinza is a powerful lending protocol designed for a reliable DeFi ecosystem, with a focus on security and aiming to create the best on-chain money market. Its platform features real yields, utilizing a dynamic interest rate curve to generate actual income from the protocol and lenders' interest. It also incorporates specific collateral risks to maximize the protocol's capital efficiency while mitigating the risk of volatile assets.

四、Sleepless AI

Sleepless AI is an AI blockchain-based virtual companion game that utilizes AIGC (Artificial Intelligence Generated Content) and LLM (Liveliness Level Model) to create immersive story-based gameplay with organic interactions with characters. The project is currently developing three games, with the first one being "HIM," a virtual boyfriend otome game (Note: An otome game is a type of romance simulation game targeted towards a female audience). The game features unique SBT (Smart Blockchain Token) characters that are immutable and blockchain-based.
